Why

Every group accumulates members who left, changed addresses, or silently disengaged: sends bounce, quorums fail, and nobody has the evidence to justify a cleanup. The data exists — in your bounce-backs, your meeting attendance, your sent mail — but nothing cross-references it against the roster. Roster Auditor does, entirely inside your Microsoft 365 session.

What it does

• Cross-references four signals — bounced sends (NDRs: the address is dead, not just quiet), in-person attendance you record, Teams attendance reports for meetings you organized, and replies to emails you sent the group.
• Shows evidence, not scores — each member gets a last-seen date and the signal behind it. No signal shows as "engagement unknown," never "inactive": quiet readers aren't ghosts.
• Re-engages first — one click drafts a polite "are you still an active member?" email to the members you select.
• Removes with confidence — one-click removal for Microsoft 365 groups you own; for classic distribution lists (which Microsoft's API makes read-only) it exports a removal-recommendation CSV with a ready-made Exchange PowerShell line per member for your admin.

Privacy

No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no AI. Every signal is something you already legitimately possess — your own mail, your own meetings' attendance reports, your own sign-in sheets. Nothing leaves the Microsoft 365 boundary, and a human confirms every action.
